I'm doing it now.

STYLING WORK
Styling was a formative part of my career, I have touched on all areas of styling work from personal shopping for a fast fashion high street brand to luxury window dressing and everything in between.
The point at which fashion, art and theatre meet has always been an inspiration to me.

Do you need someone capable of steaming, pinning, pressing and dressing? I can help.
Shown below are a few of the more extravagant windows I have styled-

HARVEY NICHOLS -
ATTITUDE
The styling direction here was primarily taken from the backdrop which was colourful, ,graphic and dramatic. The mannequin renovation had a distinctly punk feel and therefore this is the direction i went in with the outfit building.
Drawing on musical influences the outfits were comprised of clashing layers with lots of texture and powerful silhouettes.
HARVEY NICHOLS -
CHRISTMAS LIGHTS
A decadent Christmas window which involved the use of lots of programmed lighting which meant the window really came to life at night. The inspiration behind the large lighting sculptures came from the AW 2013 Alexander McQueen show, the prints in this menswear collection were taken from stained glass (below you can see one of the show looks which we recreated).
Knowing that this window would be at its most beautiful at night i used lots of reflective pieces which would pick up the changing lighting and hopefully create a sense of movement and lustre.

HARVEY NICHOLS x KERRY LEMON -
LONDON FASHION WEEK

This window was created in collaboration with artist Kerry Lemon. Her illustrations were applied to the Knightsbridge windows in vinyl form but were embellished with free hand painting which adding a theatrical quality. As the window was revealed at the same time as London Fashion Week we dressed the entire window using only British designers. The styling was quirky and eccentric and quintessentially British. We included an exclusive Alexander McQueen show window which featured samples straight from the catwalk.
HARVEY NICHOLS -
RECYCLED
This window was essentially built from items that would be considered rubbish, a focus on recycling and reducing waste. Debris found on the floor of the Harvey Nichols workshop was given a new life, re-imagined using hot glue and imagination into iguanas or monkeys that would swing through the window. Each window represented a different terrain and ecology and the aim was to reinforce this story via the styling.
