PROP SOURCING, DEVELOPMENT AND STORY TELLING

HARVEY NICHOLS - VOGUE 100
This window was based around the idea of home, different styles and era's. It required lots of dressing with quite specific furnishings. I worked with a talented felt artist to make hyper realistic mice which were placed throughout the window, some climbing props some reading small vogue magazines. Using various auction sites i sourced furniture which helped tell the story.

HARVEY NICHOLS - FASHION SCHOOL
Fashion School was possibly one of my favourite windows throughout my career to work on. Very rarely in window design does the creative fall perfectly inline with the seasons fashion, but the details within this scheme are where the window became spectacular. Over a hundred mischievous miniature dolls in school uniforms were placed throughout, all posed and given a unique hairstyle.

HARVEY NICHOLS - SHOPFRONT
This window was a customer favourite and i enjoyed being part of the team that maintained all of the prop dressing and later i worked on the redress for the queens jubilee.

HARVEY NICHOLS-
HOME OF MENSWEAR
This window was a celebration of the new menswear department, the HOME of menswear. Each window represented a room of the home, however this was no ordinary home. Littered with lots of small, funny, chaotic details it was part of my job to source some these embellishments. The marketing campaign that ran alongside this was 'Great men deserve great style' - you can see a snippet of this tongue in cheek campaign here.

DAVID M ROBINSON-
BESPOKE DISPLAYS
David M Robinson is a luxury family jeweller, they have a wealth of beautiful collections all created and made in house over the past 50 years of business. I was tasked with designing and producing small scale displays that were elegant and told the story of some specific collections. Both displays below were created using 3D printers and were then finished by hand. The display on the left was inspired by the goldsmiths bench and was designed to emphasis the bespoke service. The display on the right was the honeycomb collection, the simplicity of this display doesn't detract from the jewellery, it elevates and reinforces the provenance of the collection.

DAVID M ROBINSON -
50TH ANNIVERSARY GOLD CAMPAIGN SHOOT
In addition to prop sourcing for window displays i have also led set design on photo-shoots. The example below is the set design for David M Robinson's 50th anniversary campaign shoot. The brief was Gold, i pulled together mood-boards showing prop ideas and also composition suggestions which were then presented to key stakeholders. Once signed off i managed the logistics of getting all props to site and then dressed the set.
